World Tour 2010/11 Big Six Tournament.
March 26-27 – everybody to 11th “Moscow Cup”!
Organizers of the tournament, under management of founder of “Moscow Cup” Mikhail Margolis, are working hard to prepare the only ITHF World Tour Big Six tournament in Russia and hopes that current “Moscow Cup” will be traditionally splendid and non trivial. Logo of “MC-2011” is already prepared (made with good-humored style). It is decided that tournament will be played on “unselfish” table hockey games, e.g. on games without advertisements of “MC” non-related companies. “Start with empty page” – this is invitation to new players. Tournament itself will have another ironic and exact slogan. But at the moment that is kept in secret. At the moment venue selection for “MC-2011” is under active process. The highest sports management of Russia, city of Moscow and partners of “Moscow Cup” are also involved in this. Organizers of “Moscow Cup 2011” also have plans to increase prize money of tournament. A flagship of Russian table hockey, the oldest, the biggest, the most famous and prestigious international tournament “Moscow Cup” opens the second decade of its wild history. Previous years organizers of “MC” consistently were trying to initiate progressive tendencies into table hockey both national and international level, at some level even setting standards of development of this sport. High level demand during selection of “MC” venue, expansion of geography and of number of players, grows of price money, production of special souvenirs, TV translations, high number of press media informing about “MC”, creation of special slogans for tournaments, special gifts to winners, stars of sport and show-business as special guests and of course discovering of new players – those are must have targets of “Moscow Cup”. For many well known table hockey players “MC” has been their first tournament.
“Moscow Cup” – it is two days fiesta with friendly after party for all lovers of this beautiful game. “Moscow Cup” – it is tournament on ITHF (International Table Hockey Federation) calendar with one of the highest ranking and it is every players dream to win this trophy. Through the years only there is one player who managed to win “MC” twice – existing World Champion Roni Nuttunen (Finland). Will someone able to prevent him from making golden hat-trick on “Moscow Cup 2011” we will see in March.
